Community Self-Help works every day to:

  • provide psychosocial support (MHPSS) to children, veterans, IDPs, and frontline communities;

  • strengthen local MHPSS services and train professionals using WHO-aligned, evidence-based methods;

  • support community recovery, self-reliance, and resilience in de-occupied and war-affected areas

Fundraising priorities for 2026


In 2026, Community Self-Help plans to raise funds from international partners, individual donors and philanthropic partners in Ukraine, the USA, UK, Poland, and other countries to support the following priorities:

  • UAH 6,725,000 — implementation of internationally recognised, evidence-based psychosocial support (MHPSS) programs in Ukraine, with a focus on children and communities in de-occupied and frontline areas.

  • UAH 850,000 — humanitarian and operational support related to psychosocial programs (logistics, materials, essential support to frontline communities).

Funds are used strictly in accordance with the statutory goals of the NGO.

Transparency and use of funds

Since its establishment, Community Self-Help has received over UAH 15,000,000 in charitable contributions from international organisations, universities, partners, and individual donors.


Funds have been used to:

  • support frontline workers, war-affected communities, and hospitals;

  • train over 457 community leaders, frontline workers (police, rescuers, mobile groups of humanitarian missions), and NGO representatives across Ukraine;

  • deliver humanitarian aid and psychosocial support.


Use of funds:

80% — programmatic and humanitarian activities

20% — administrative and operational costs ensuring sustainability


Annual reports are publicly available in the ‘About Us’ section.


By making a donation, the donor agrees that unused funds are non-refundable and may be reallocated to other statutory projects of Community Self-Help NGO.
